Before you write

Most of what gets asked is already answered on the home page FAQ: whether past papers are included (they aren't), which exams are covered, whether you need an account (you don't), what happens if you lock your phone mid-paper (nothing), and how extra time works.

Reporting a bug

A timing bug is worth reporting properly, because a clock that is wrong by a few seconds is the one thing this app cannot afford. Include:

If the timings look wrong, export the session as CSV from the results screen and attach it. That file is the actual evidence, and it contains nothing but your own timings.

Common answers

A question's time looks too long.
Check whether you returned to it. Every visit to a question is banked into that question's total, which is deliberate — the second visit is time the paper cost you too. The results screen lists the visits separately.
What happens to the topics I tag?
They are saved against that question and shown on its row in the results screen, so a paper you review later still says what each question was testing. Tap a tag to correct it.
An old ENGAA or NSAA paper is being graded at ESAT pace.
That is intended. The paper runs for its own official duration, but the pace it is judged against is the exam you told klock.io you are sitting, so the numbers stay comparable across everything you practise.
I want my data out.
Open the paper from your history and choose Export question timings (CSV) — one row per question, with its lap time, target and pacing status. It is handed to the share sheet; where it goes is your choice.
I want my data gone.
Settings → Delete all data removes every session, timing and tag immediately. Deleting the app removes everything it stored. Nothing was ever sent anywhere, so there is no other copy to chase.

Feature requests

Send them. The app stays deliberately small — no streaks, no leaderboards, no social anything — but a request that makes the pacing sharper is the kind worth hearing.

Privacy

Anything you email is between you and me, and is not used for anything except answering you. The app itself collects nothing; see the privacy policy.
