klock.io collects nothing. There is no account, no server to sign in to, no analytics, and no third-party SDK of any kind. Nothing you do in the app is transmitted anywhere.

What the app stores, and where

klock.io records the papers you time so it can show you your own history and work out which topics are costing you time. That record stays in the app's own storage on your device. It consists of:

• which paper you sat, when you started it, and how long it ran;
• how long you spent on each question, including return visits;
• which questions you marked as answered;
• any syllabus topics you attached to a question yourself;
• your settings — the exam you are preparing for, an optional sitting date, and whether time alerts are on.

That is the whole list. There is no identifier for you in it, because the app never needs to know who you are.

iCloud

This version of klock.io does not sync. Your data is written to your device only. If you have iCloud Backup switched on in iOS Settings, the app's data is included in your device backup like any other app's — that backup is between you and Apple, and klock.io has no access to it.

A future version may offer sync across your own devices. If it does, it will use your personal iCloud private database, which is readable only by you. klock.io would still have no server and no ability to see your data, and this page will be updated before any such version ships.

What is never collected

• No name, email address, or account of any kind.
• No advertising identifier, and no tracking across apps or websites.
• No analytics, crash reporting, or usage telemetry.
• No location, contacts, photos, or health data.

The app's privacy manifest declares a single required-reason API — UserDefaults, category CA92.1 — used only to keep your own settings on your own device.

Exports you choose to make

klock.io can export a paper's timings as CSV. Those files are created on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet. What happens next is entirely your choice; klock.io is not involved once you have chosen where the file goes.

Notifications

Optional time alerts are scheduled locally by iOS on your device. klock.io sends no push notifications and operates no push server.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete all data removes every session, question timing and topic tag immediately. Deleting the app removes everything it stored. As nothing ever leaves your device, there is no copy anywhere else for us to delete, and no request you need to make of us.

Children

klock.io is aimed at students preparing for university admissions tests. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and any change that affects what is stored or sent will be described here before the version that makes it is released.
